About the role
You will support our IT operations and interact with employees seeking technical assistance to complete their day-to-day tasks, ensuring the company IT infrastructure and systems work effectively for stable operations.
You will learn from, and work side by side, with the Infrastructure Manager to assist the Development Team, helping with the installation, configuration, upgrading, patching, monitoring, diagnosis and fixing of our applications and cloud resources, including troubleshooting and resolving IT problems to ensure the Development Team is well supported.
This position operates on a hybrid working model, with the expectation of on-site presence one day per week to support other employees.
You’ll spend your time:
- Supporting the operations of our IT systems, which include:
- AWS Cloud Services
- Kubernetes clusters (hosted in AWS)
- A fleet of cloud instances: Windows and Linux servers
- .NET Core containerized applications (microservices)
- Cloud-based services such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace
- Office and home equipment: laptops and peripherals
- Taking ownership of the assigned tasks with decreasing need for supervision 3. Helping to enforce IT and security policies and procedures across our infrastructure 4. Supporting our employees with day-to-day IT requirements
- Suggesting ways to keep our infrastructure modern and continuously improved 6. Writing and updating documentation, procedures and policies for existing IT systems, services

You should apply if you:
- Have a passion for IT systems and security

- Have a degree or advanced apprenticeship in Computer Science
- Have good knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems
- Have familiarity with AWS Services

Package details:
- Salary in the range of £28-£33K depending on experience
