About The Role

Recon is Mastering The Fetish Evolution. As the world’s biggest dating app and online profiles site exclusively for gay, bi, trans and curious men into fetish, we produce events and use our extensive social media outreach to enhance the brand image, liaise with members, create touch points with the brand and bring like-minded kinksters together to create meaningful connections.

We’re looking for an Events and Media Coordinator to join our team and work closely with the Brand Manager and extended members of the Brand Team on the planning and production of events, the administration of our social media platforms and assist with creative multi-media campaigns.

This dual role will include some travel (national, and international), and will occasionally involve work hours outside the company’s standard workday schedule.



  • Planning of brand events and promotional campaigns
  • Research and scheduling of events
  • Liaising with event venues and building relationships with venue managers
  • Liaising with and scheduling of event employees 
  • Oversee the acquisition, storage and logistics of events production equipment
  • Oversee the build-up and teardown of events
  • Managing individual event budgets
  • Other event duties to be determined


  • Liaise with members and research opportunities for acquiring new and interesting written and visual media content contributors
  • Assist with coordinating the brand content schedule
  • Assist with collating media content assets 
  • Managing the social media platforms
  • Manage the scheduling of content on main recon platform
  • Manage email inboxes: social / events / submissions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in events
  • In-depth understanding of event coordination and logistics
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to remain focus and work under pressure
  • Understanding of budgets and invoicing
  • Managing the promotion, communications and branding of events
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing tools (social media channels)
  • Excellent multitasking and task prioritisation skills

  • Foundation degree or higher in events, communication, or social media marketing

Package Details

  • Salary in the range of £28 - £32K depending on experience
